Referrals

I accept referrals from clients, health insurances, General Practitioners and also from solicitors and other organisations.  Please contact me for a brief conversation before booking the initial assessment appointment.

Clinic times

I work on Monday afternoons in Ashtead at Ashley Medical Centre, Gilbert House Surgery, and Saturday mornings at the Leatherhead Institute.

Fees

Fees for assessments and therapy sessions may vary depending on the intervention and location. Please contact me to discuss further.
Please note that missed sessions will be paid in full but the fee is waived for those cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice.

Assessment

During the initial session we will discuss your history and current difficulties and agree on the focus of therapy. If required by your insurance company or GP I will write a diagnostic assessment report. An assessment typically lasts between 1 hour but sometimes a further appointment is necessary to complete the assessment and make recommendations for treatment. Therapy sessions last 50-60 minutes and are usually held on a weekly basis. Payment in cash or cheque is accepted at the end of each session. Cards are not accepted.

Treatment

The length of therapy varies greatly depending on the presenting problem but it usually lasts between 6 and 20 sessions and will follow NICE guidelines.

Health insurance companies

I accept referrals from health insurance companies and you can use your health insurance to pay for therapy but please check with them first. In case your isurance lapses you are liable for the cot of treatment. Please note that some insurance companies require a referral by a GP or a Psychiatrist.

Confidentiality

I work in strict confidentiality and details will be discussed at our first appointment.
